UF Students Thrive During Fall Library Events

Fall Fest

The annual Libraries student outreach event took place on Wednesday, October 22 at the Reitz Union. 513 participants visited tables featuring information on borrowing, spaces and tools and tech. This year’s theme was Centennial, and the limited edition t-shirts featuring the Smathers window went fast!

Crepuscular Creatures

In a collaboration with the Florida Natural History Museum, the museum came to Marston Science Library where students learned about animals that are crepuscular, meaning they’re primarily active around dawn or dusk. On Thursday, October 23, students were able to engage in free activities, engaged with their campus natural history museum, and learned about these interesting creatures.
