Swag and merchandise from the Libraries is a part of our brand and ensures accurate storytelling for our system and the University of Florida™. These guidelines are to help ensure quick and easy approvals and a consistent message.
Logos
- Please use one of the official logos below for your projects.
- Do not alter the logos in any way, such as distorting the dimensions, cropping, changing the colors or adding/deleting text.
- To download the logos, right click on the thumbnail and select “Save Image As”. This logo is an image file has a transparent background but may not reproduce clearly at larger scale if used in print materials.
Swag
All swag requests must be submitted through Grover, with Alex Avelino as a notifyee. In general, merchandise must use an official logo, branded fonts, and branded colors. Designers should consider accessibility (e.g. avoid acronyms, jargon, color contrast, etc). When designing a larger item (e.g. t-shirt), you must follow UF Logo guidelines (e.g. do not place a logo near another graphic element). Specifically note:
POSITIONING AND SPACING
The logo must be surrounded on all sides by clear space. The clear space should be no less than one-half the height of the “UF” monogram. Do not print graphics, rules, typography, or other elements in this space.
MINIMUM SIZE
The minimum size for print applications is one-half inch wide for the monogram portion of the logo. In digital materials, the monogram portion of the logo should be no less than 70 pixels wide. Additionally, proportions should not be altered. For apparel embroidery, the smallest logo text in the logo should be no smaller than 3 points.
